What I absolutely love about photography is the ability to convey an idea, an emotion or an event by using a camera to capture that moment in time. When I was seven years old, I became fascinated with photography when I got to play with a Polaroid Instant at my mother’s work. It wasn’t until high school when photography became one of my biggest passions as a hobby as well as a career. In a wide variety of media, I am always eager to go beyond what is required, whether it’s documenting or filming: dog sporting events, dance performances, concerts, fashion, landscapes, or wolf sanctuaries. My biggest inspiration that pushed me to be creative, innovative, and to do my best was my dog, Precious. Her presence in my life has been a blessing as well as a big influence in my work. Through time and patience, she became my main assistant for testing out photographic ideas and projects that evolved into award winning series, which then drove me further in my work.
